Wai Tong Chung

 Wai Tong Chung is a PhD student at Stanford University who is working with Professor Matthias Ihme. Wai Tong obtained his MEng in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London, and his primary interests are in Turbulent Combustion, Propulsion, Large Eddy Simulations and Machine Learning methods. More recently, Wai Tong and Prof. Ihme has worked on employing Machine Learning algorithms for accelerating simulations of a rocket combustor. To support PSAAP, Wai Tong will continue to explore the potential of Machine Learning and other data-driven methodologies for improving the performance and fidelity of turbulent combustion simulations.
